With the brand’s upcoming debut electric vehicle, the MG ZS EV, a video has been released showing how the high-tech batteries are built at its SAIC factory.
Through a joint venture between SAIC Motor and battery manufacturer CATL, the company aims to produce over 300,000 EV batteries per year. This video offers a tour of its facility and looks at the entire process including the components used to create each electric car battery along with what type of machines are used in the manufacturing process.
