ZF Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) has been selected as key supplier of several core systems for the Volta Zero, including braking, suspension, and steering systems.
Electric partnership
ZF is the world’s largest supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, and its technologies include Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Electronic Braking System (EBS) including the brake pedal box, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and OnHand Electro-Pneumatic Handbrake (EPH).
ZF will also supply Volta with a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), independent front suspension (IFS) axle system, Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS), and components in the steering system, including the steering column and the steering gear.
