The Toyota bZ Compact SUV Concept has debuted at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show, as Toyota extends the electrification agenda of its bZ “Beyond Zero” sub-brand.
The concept is a full battery electric vehicle (BEV) displaying a “clean-vital” design approach. It is a zero emission model that uses low-impact, sustainable materials with a focus on cutting edge technology. The seating is made from plant-based and recycled materials and an in-car personal assistant connects driver and passengers with the vehicle through audio and lighting cues that move around the cabin.
Toyota says this SUV will form part of their goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, achieved through the practical introduction of products with advanced, alternative fuel and zero emission powertrain technologies.
