Skywell, an emerging EV brand, has revealed its new Q hatchback at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. The model marks Skywell’s first global debut in Europe, signaling the company’s expansion plans.
The Skywell Q, positioned in the popular Class C family car segment, measures 4,297mm long, 1,836mm wide, and 1,536mm high. It features a sleek design with a low profile, dynamic front LED lightbar, and 18” alloy wheels. Two battery options will be available, with the larger battery offering a range of over 300 miles and a recharge time of about 20 minutes (10% to 80% ). The 150kW motor accelerates the Q from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds.
Inside, the Q boasts a 15.6” touchscreen display, a Skyroof, and a 360° panoramic parking camera. The interior combines practicality with character, featuring composite fibre panelling, ambient lighting, and orange accents. The infotainment system includes a German-engineered Metz sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, and rear-seat touchscreen displays. Safety features comprise Intelligent Cruise Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Intelligent Speed Assist.
Skywell plans to launch the Q in Q3 2025, with UK specifications and pricing to be announced closer to the release date. The vehicle will come with Skywell’s 7-year, 100,000-mile warranty, plus an 8-year, 155,000-mile battery warranty.
