Škoda Auto is advancing its electrification strategy with significant updates to its Enyaq family, one of Europe’s most successful all-electric model series. Both the Škoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé now feature the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, highlighted by a glossy black illuminated Tech-Deck Face and new Škoda bonnet lettering in Unique Dark Chrome.
The refreshed models offer improved aerodynamics, with drag coefficients of 0.245 for the Enyaq and an even more impressive 0.229 for the Enyaq Coupé. The updated range includes three powertrain options: the Enyaq 60 and Enyaq 85 with rear-wheel drive, and the Enyaq 85x with all-wheel drive thanks to an additional front motor.
“Since their launch in 2020, the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé have made electric mobility a reality for over 250,000 customers, along with their families and friends,” said Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto. “Now the new Enyaq series brings fresh options and improvements to the table, including an even more stylish design and even greater electric range.”
The new models support fast charging capabilities of up to 175 kW, allowing a charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 28 minutes. A notable addition is bidirectional charging for the 85 and 85x models, enabling the battery to serve as a supplementary energy storage unit at home.
In the UK, customers can choose from three trim levels: SE L, Edition, and SportLine. Standard equipment across the range includes heated front seats and steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, keyless entry, and blind spot detection. The top-tier SportLine variant features distinctive black detailing, sports suspension, and progressive dynamic steering.
Interior options include six Design Selections, with the new sustainable Lodge Design Selection using eco-friendly materials and orange details, while the new Lounge Design Selection combines artificial leather and microsuede with light green stitching.
By the end of 2024, Škoda had delivered over 250,000 Enyaq models to customers, making it the third most popular electric model series in Europe and the sixth bestselling battery electric vehicle in the UK.
