Byton has released teaser images of its second vehicle – an all-electric premium sedan based on the same electric platform as the company’s midsize SUV, which will enter production in 2019. The sedan model, Byton claims, will enter production in 2021.
“Byton’s second model fits perfectly into the world’s large sedan market,” said CEO and co-founder Carston Breitfeld. “It is based on the same electric platform as the midsize SUV, which starts in 2019 as a production model – the sedan goes into series production in 2021. This is followed by an MPV with seven seats – like all our models, with electric drive and a feel-good interior perfectly designed for the digital lifestyle.”
