Lincoln has unveiled the Aviator SUV at the New York Auto Show, including details of a hybrid powertrain option for the model. The vehicle, described by Lincoln as “a three-row plug-in hybrid production preview” serves as an indicator for the OEM’s electrification plans for the model, which will go on sale in 2019.
The twin-turbocharged powertrain inside the Aviator will be available with a plug-in hybrid option. More technical details of the powertrain will follow in the coming months.
