Honda has revealed a range of enhancements to the 2019 NSX, including updates to the hybrid powertrain.
Honda will recalibrate the software controlling its Sport Hybrid SH-AWD power unit, electric power steering, vehicle stability assist system and the active magnetorheological dampers.
These alterations make the ride and response more comfortable in the NSX’s softest setting, while maintaining a stiffer configuration for higher speeds and on-track driving.
The powertrain also sees upgraded injectors, enhancement to the heat response of the turbocharger and a new particulate filter (bringing the NSX in line with Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standards).
The 2019 NSX will also see larger front and rear stabilizer bars, with increase stiffness by 26% at the front and 19% at the rear. Rear hubs and control-arm toe link bushings are also stiffer, boosting responsiveness through the chassis.
