Peugeot has launched an electric folding bike as part of an integrated mobility solution. The EF01, which integrates into the boot space of the new Peugeot 5008, has an aluminum frame, and is fitted with a battery and motor that will power the bike to 18-25 (29-40km) miles of range and reach a top speed of 12.5mph (20km/h).
With a total weight of 18.6kg, the EF01 features a 208Wh battery, and is targeted squarely at the ‘last mile’ market segment – commuters unable to find parking within a mile of their workplace. The bike fits into the rear compartment of the 5008 SUV, with a mobile charging dock included in the package.
