Croatian electric hypercar company Rimac has revealed what goes on behind the scenes at its facilities in a four-part video series that shows off production lines, manufacturing technology and R&D.
Founder of the innovative company, Mate Rimac, takes viewers on a walk-through tour where he talks about launching in 2011 and growing from a one-person garage operation to today’s 500-strong workforce that is collaborating with the world’s biggest automotive manufacturers to build high-performance electric vehicles.
Famous for its Concept One vehicle, which produces an electrifying 1224hp, Rimac reveals its manufacturing processes including chassis welding, CNC machining and components assembly.
But beyond its own hypercar production, Rimac is also working with the likes of Hyundai, Porsche, Aston Martin, and more to supply them with the technology and knowledge to go electric.
In the video series, it will follow Rimac’s evolution from low volume manufacturer to an established Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, including high volume production lines for battery packs and powertrain systems.
