Ford has revealed a teaser image of its new Mustang-inspired all-electric vehicle, scheduled to arrive in 2020.
Though sharing virtually no other technical information about the project – other than a targeted range of 300 miles – it does offer a first glimpse of the OEM’s flagship electric vehicle, part of an electrification strategy that will see Ford invest US$11bn in 16 full-electric (within a portfolio of 40 electrified) vehicles to market by 2022.
In a blog post on Medium, Darren Palmer, global product development director of Ford’s Team Edison, offers an insight into the team’s work on the new project.
